About New & Gold

New & Gold is a community for new moms, moms-to-be, and future moms to talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly. Founded by Jane Adler and Rachel Creighton, our goal is to create a network where we can share experiences, ask questions, give insight, celebrate the wins and offer support during the losses. And for the love of God (Country, Notre Dame), let's keep things real.

About Jane & Rach

Jane Adler (ND '13) lives in Southern California with husband Cory, 4-year-old daughter Elle and 1-year-old daughter Ava, and is the founder of brand consulting firm Press Play. Rachel Creighton (ND '10) calls Philadelphia home with husband Mike, 4-year-old son Charlie and 2-year-old twins Mikey and Mia, and runs her own lifestyle photography business.

How It Started & Where It's Going

We conceived this idea after many late night texts, early morning tears, and too much coffee. It was born out of a realization that the more moms you have in your corner, the better of a mom you can be. We've been in constant communication asking "how did you do this" and "when did you start that" to try to piece together this jigsaw puzzle of raising a kid. It really does take a village. And what better village than the one we already have, the one that was born and raised at Notre Dame. Our goal with this group is to have people at all different stages of having a baby be able to have a place to ask those tough questions, to talk about everything from fertility to postpartum mental health. Think of it as a built in support system and google search engine all in one. We aim to be inclusive and talk about what works for us - while also keeping things entertaining because, as we said before, motherhood is a dish best served hot with humor.
