Baptism Gifts: Unlocked

We know this topic feels a little niche to dedicate a whole post to but we will keep this short & sweet. Baptisms are an exciting chapter that a lot of us will have the privilege of experiences with our own children, nieces and nephews, cousins and friend's kids. While the occasion does not require a gift, I have had a good amount of people ask me if I have ideas on a small gesture or thoughtful present to commemorate the day. This could be because I am the token Notre Dame alumni in my very Trojan-dominated city so people assume I know how to handle a Catholic right of passage - or because I am typically an excellent gift giver (something I pride myself on). Here are some of the best gifts I have given or received to date all under $50:

This adorable Noah's Arc play set is one we received personally that my kids (5 & 2) play with almost every day. It is super reasonable at under $30 and there is even a 10% promo on it as the time this post is being published.

This Bible Stories interactive book is always a winner that the kids can play with in the car to keep them entertained or you can read as a family before bed at night. Another on that is low impact on the wallet at a hair over $20.

This all-in-one set will make you look like you really have your sh!t together all for under $30. It includes washcloth, towel, bath book and toys, and even the gift bag so all you have to do is sign your name and get the praise for such a well-rounded present. It comes in blue or pink depending on the gender of the baby being baptized.

A custom wood cross for the recipient's room is always a very nice gesture and a great way to commemorate the occasion. We love this one!

And last but certainly not least, a personalized children's bible engraved with their name! This one is a bit pricier as just under $50 but it is something these children can treasure for life.
